Remote monitoring is one of the five telemedicine\u00a0 procedures. It enables a professional to remotely interpret data collected at the patient\u2019s home.<\/p>\n\n\n<smartfire-component name='spacer' attributes=\"{&quot;height&quot;:50,&quot;laptopHeight&quot;:45,&quot;tabletHeight&quot;:40,&quot;mobileHeight&quot;:30}\"><\/smartfire-component>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How does it work?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Data from the cardiac device is sent regularly, via a remote transmitter, a box placed in the patient\u2019s home, to a dedicated website. The telemedicine technicians collect and analyse the data on a daily basis.
