On Monday, November 29, Jean Galfione crossed the finish line of the 15th edition of the Transat Jacques Vabre in tenth position in the Class40 category, with his boat in the Liryc colors. The duo Jean Galfione – Eric Péron will have taken 22 days 5 hours 15 minutes and 20 seconds to cover the 4 600 theoretical miles from Le Havre.

After a complicated beginning of the race, Jean Galfione and Eric Péron managed to get back on track and started an incredible “remontada”. An example of resilience for the Liryc teams who have been following their sponsor’s course with attention.

This 10th place is the reward for their commitment, but it is also and above all very promising for the future, as it allowed the skipper of Serenis Consulting to measure the tremendous potential of his new boat before the Route du Rhum 2022, his next big goal! A new opportunity for Jean Galfione to raise awareness for the cause of heart rhythm diseases by wearing the Liryc spinnaker!
